My apologies for the delay. The turn has been sent at last to Dren Tycos.

All conditions are as Yabcock outlined, EXCEPT the alphatext was not adjusted to forbid contact without comms. You will all just have to watch this yourself.

The game has been playtested & I'm pretty sure everything is OK.

Re: 9th February game - turn tracking [post #37]

Hi,

I haven't seen the turn for a week or so, and what hurts me the most I haven't seen any notice like "Sorry about delay but I have to..." or any other.
So I wonder if someone could tell me who is that extremely busy person, who has no time for making turns and even for writing just a word about the reasons of delay.

I'll be grateful for answer,
Yabcok

Re: 9th February game - turn tracking [post #39]

I resent the turn on the 16th.

Now Yabcok there is a saying that came to mind when I read your post "Would you like a little cheese with your whine?". I feel there are a few things you have to remember. People do not usually try to be malicious and spiteful and when stuff like this happens it is by accident and not on purpose, and we all do have lives besides this game as well. I for one have had a busy few weeks. I am a single father of two kids and I at least have my kids 60% of my time, I had a friend visiting from Malaysia for a few day, I have a friend leaving to Louisiana, I'm planning a trip to Oregon, I just got back from a reunion, and most important I have been spending every second I can with my girlfriend whom I really like. This is just barley a glimpse of how busy I've been too.

So don't get so worked up over nothing. No bad intent was meant for you or anyone else. On my defense I did send out the turn the day I got it and never received an e-mail to resend so I checked on the 16th and did resend.

Re: 9th February game - turn tracking [post #40]

I'm feeling a bit gloomy reading your post, due to the reason I've got only few hours of free time a week last time is not due to any trip to Oregon or due to having a visit of a friend from Malysia... The only reason I've got nearly no free time is that I'm practically all the time in the work, having only Sunday where I've got in theory few hours for myself (where "in theory" is damn accurate word...). That's all about "the cheese with my wine"...

And about the game - when I see no turn for a week or so and I see no informations about delays I've got that ugly custom to ask what is going on, having a hope that I'm not only person who is interested what is going with the game. But I think I'm able to work a bit about this and change this custom if you wish.

No I can understand your frustration, but I've played hundreds of online pbem's and, as I'm sure your aware of, this is not so uncommon of an occurrence. The way you decided to word your post not only shows your frustration but automatically puts people on the defensive and makes them a bit angry which in the end accomplishes nothing but resentfulness. Just pointing that out and I'm sorry if that makes you gloomy. I'm sure we'll get the turns moving again.

I meant no harm and to show my repentance I'm ready to wait for the times when the game will be going again without further complainings...
